«Хто ти?»
При створення персонажа у грі Брама Балдура 3 можна створити власного персонажа без особистої історії або обрати одного з сюжетних:
- Астаріон — Високий ельф, пройдисвіт;
- Лей'зель — Ґітьянкі, боєць;
- Ґейл — Людина, чарівник;
- Тінесерда — Висока напівельфка, клірик;
- Вілл — Людина, чаклун;
- Карлак — Бісинка, варвар;
- Темна Жага — єдиний сюжетний персонаж, якого можна повністю редагувати, від власного персонажу відрізняється наявністю особистої передісторії.
Усі необрані сюжетні персонажі (за винятком Темної Жаги) будуть доступні у якості потенційних супутників.
При грі в мережі в партії не може бути двох однакових сюжетних персонажів.
Налаштування персонажу[ред. | ред. код]
При виборі власного персонажа або Темної жаги, треба буде визначитися з:
- Расою та субрасою для більшості випадків;
- Класом, якщо субклас обирати не треба, то цей вибір просто відтерміновано до більшого рівня;
- Обрати зачарування та закляття, якщо вони доступні обраному класу;
- Особливі характеристики, залежно від класу;
- Здібності;
- Навички, можливості вибору яких визначаються класом та часом расою.

When you start a New Game, you will create your character in the Character Creation screen. You can choose to play as an Origin Character or create a custom one. Below is an outline of every aspect of Character Creation.

Your physical and mental attributes. They affect most of your rolls.
Baldur's Gate 3 uses the Point Buy system, with 27 points available to spend on your ability scores. The following rules apply during Character Creation:
- You may not reduce any ability score below 8.
- You may not increase any ability score above 15 (before bonuses from your race).
- Each ability score increase (before bonuses from your race) up to 13 costs one Ability Point; 14 and 15 each cost two Ability Points.
At higher levels (4, 8, and 12), you can increase these ability scores via the Ability Score Increase feature. You may also find certain magical items that can increase or decrease an ability score.
